Designed by Howard Jeffs this kayak is regarded as one of the best ever rough-water-capable expedition doubles. The combination of speed, secure handling and ample storage capacity make it suitable for almost any purpose. *Weight as for standard Diolen construction, weighed without hatches.

[ Standard ]  Special XXXX Rudder Some words about the Aleut II rudder here, which is a standard feature replacing the skeg feature.  Glass Reinforced Seam Outside seams have a hardwearing Diolen tape application.  Contoured Bulkhead Our contoured bulkhead somes as a standard feature. The curved form allows for flexion of the hull, particularly when stress is concentrated on a spot when running aground.  Ergonomic Seat System Our seat system includes an ergonomically contoured seat pan, three dimesional adjustable backband and padded customisable hip shims.  Ocean Cockpit The classic smaller Greenland style cockpit rim, which provides some sort of benefit I suppose.

Available for decks, hulls & outside seams.  Compac 50 Pump The Whale Compac 50 is a low profile underdeck bilge pump with a completely enclosed protected diaphragm. It's capable of pumping 49 litres per minute and has an easily removable clamp ring for quick maintenance.  Silva 70P Compass The Silva 70P Compas is a compact watertight unit which can be fitted vertically or at a sloping angle. It allows transverse tilting up to 30º, with unlimited tilting fore and aft. Double scale, with top and edge readings.  Reinforced Keel Strip Reduce wear and tear on your hull, with an additional diolen rubbing strip bonded to the keel line.  Take-apart Construction For those with special transportation requirements we can offer a sectional construction, for a bolt-together kayak.  Pro-Kevlar Construction Vacuum infusion Kevlar/carbon hull for reduced weight.  Ultra Kevlar Construction Top fight construction with vacuum infusion Kevlar/carbon for deck, hull and bulkheads.
